CL72 Plastic Emblems
CL72 Plastic Emblems
I just bought a 1963 CL72 (Whoohoo!!) that I am begining a complete restoration on. Does anyone know where I can get original or replica plastic emblems for a CL-72? These are the "250" emblems. Any leads would be appreciated, just can't bear to put metal emblems on such a special bike. Thanks!<br />Gabe

Everyone might need to know, the stuff selling new on ebay for these bikes ie; metal badges(sets or singles),gas caps, kicker rubbers, grips, mirrors are still available from Honda,if your local dealer has a non cooperative bonehead behind the parts counter,go to another dealer..someone is re-popping the PLASTIC badges in Japan for $130(ebay).. Bill Silver used to have them too.smi481 wrote:At the 2006 Mid Ohio get together Ohio Honda

Thanks for the replies everyone. I actually found one of the "last available" repro 250 emblem sets from Larry Shultz in Fremont, CA. I then stumbled accross an early Dream tank with nearly perfect 250 plastics....Now I have two sets. But, to make it even more complicated, I now find out that my CL-72 is an early model that most likely said "250 Dream" on the emblems....Whatever.....It will have "250" emblems and that will have to do for now.....
