I'll kick this new section off with several photos of an old Fare Box. This was usually mounted in a bus. It's a marvel of enginnering with features such as an ability to ring different internal bells to indicate the type of fare deposited, allowing the driver to take note without looking (away from the road). This one (it's twin, actually) was purchassed at a flea market years ago. I spent my entire savings at the time -$9 to buy it (I was 13) - but consider it one of the best hobby purchasses I've made.
