Rozy.... I mean no disrespect just kidding around here believe me. The way you've explained what you & your mechanic assume your problems are just don't add up. Unless these carbs have 50,000 miles on them I doubt these parts are "that" worn & in need of replacement. From what I can tell you have other issues. Post some real good closeup photos of the parts in question & the good folks here will be happy to evaluate them for you. DON'T BUY ANYTHING ELSE! We are here to help you
