Kick start lever stuck

Post by roadcapDen » Thu Jan 06, 2011 8:20 am

305'rs,

1st post, tried searching but not quite sure re cause.
The kick start lever is in the upright position and will only move very slightly, it's stuck, I can hear some noise in the case but I don't want to force it down too hard.
It's in neutral, the pistons are siezed too.
Likely causes??

Thanks,

Well, if the pistons are seized, the kick starter is not going to move either.

Thx Cyclon, Sorry, I meant the pistons WERE seized.

What is the gas line thickness ie OD or ID, wasn't stated in the parts manual.

Fuel line is 5.5mm ID. Remove the right cover, and see if there's an issue in there. If not, you may be splitting the cases.
