Haha... Jensen, you are the man.
My sisters are all medical doctors (3 of them) and i asked them what tonsils do, and the responded just like you did! I was going to post it but am still to fresh to start making frienemys! ;)

I'll try to behave and be respectful, and even that is sometimes hard to achieve, but in the long run it's the best solution.

I know what you mean, but in the search for information there are no enemy's nor friends. It depends on what kind of info is discussed. There are subjects where my friends get my enemy, and the other way around.(I was going to post it but am still to fresh to start making frienemys! ;)

Never knew that about tonsils. I do know that yanking them out the first time you have a flare up is not the norm anymore. I'd say that probably the only useless part of the entire human anatomy is the brain on a politician.

The Gallbladder is an interesting one actually...
The Bile is stores was thought to originally been used to help digest raw meats before we started to cook our food. Interesting isnt it? like a prehistoric function that we rarely draw on now.
