i think most of the early honda's are copy's of other bikes, but i still like this early stuff, just got the speedo out today to send off for repair, you cant see from the front, it has 6 bulbs in the back of it.e3steve wrote:Looking at your ME, it reminds me of a Puch 175 split single that, as a disqualified 17-year-old, I had in my garden for a year or so -- 'till my old man went bloody garrity one weekend and I had to dispose of it fast (like, that day!)

Hey allan , i think your right about looking like other bikes , at first glance it looks alarming similar to a NSU max special circa 1955.... i have looked high andlow for a jc 58-59 ... but now have decided to stick with the dream and/or superhawk just for parts availability ... and the fact that this will be my first bike restore.. if all goes well it do a jc next... mr honda willing...... just another devote believer who prays at the alter of internal combustion...lolol... nick

hi nick, just sold a couple of jc56/58 bikes, they went to cmsnl, do know where there is a restored bike, but wants, pie in the sky money for it, i have put an offer of £10,000 for it , but wants 16k, he paid too much for it at the start. .alanrrtccp wrote:Hey allan , i think your right about looking like other bikes , at first glance it looks alarming similar to a NSU max special circa 1955.... i have looked high andlow for a jc 58-59 ... but now have decided to stick with the dream and/or superhawk just for parts availability ... and the fact that this will be my first bike restore.. if all goes well it do a jc next... mr honda willing...... just another devote believer who prays at the alter of internal combustion...lolol... nick
