Top end noise - interesting cam issue

OK Thanks to all - I understand all of the points made. Just thought maybe if the cam was worn at the point where you set it to .004 that it would be too tight in other places and the "soft landing" action might open the valve slightly when its not supposed to be open. But I guess I can't think of a reason why it would wear there anyway since its not in contact with anything.

Set to .004 and go ride - Roger
