Hi,
Today I started working on an engine with a bad trans. I thought I saw it all, but this trans was a mixture of nice parts and very worn parts. I'm almost sure the engine was original, as it seemed that it was never opened, and had the standard pistons in it with low wear. The crank was perfect, as were the cases.

Re: broken first gear bush
For sure that trans has "been around the world".
Mistreated and broke.
For sure it was at one time built to be a completion engine? (brazed cam sprocket advance weights)
A good question may be for what competition.
What's with the next to last pic?
Amy idea there feller?. ........lm
