Big Bore 338cc / 350 cc kits - head gaskets?

Those of you that are running the 338/350cc kits in these bikes - what are you using for head gaskets? I'm not that keen on copper.....

My 350 has original style head gasket (but for a 64mm bore) a fella in our club had about 20 made years ago by a gasket manufacturer in Sydney. I also have copper, works fine and a lot cheaper

I had Bert Kingston in QLD modify a batch of stock gaskets to suit the larger bore. Next time I'll get copper from Cometic or Les Barker.

Cometic has CB77 composite gaskets with the proper fire ring fitted, that will accomodate up to a 65mm bore. These are available on special order as part number H0157SP5043F. Regards, Chase

I made a head gasket for my CB77, bored to 350 out of a piece of aluminium. Used an old gasket as a pattern, softened the aluminum in the oven and haven't had a problem for the last 10 to 15 years. Cheap too.
