1966 Honda cp77 Build Thread

Post by Ryan » Wed Aug 11, 2010 4:33 pm

Just posting a couple pics to show my progress thus far on my bike.

Currently waiting on an all new cable set.(Thats why cables look wacky)

And, I'll start tearing her apart to repaint and clean up this winter!!!

I know there is currently alot missing/not original still, but that will come in time!!!

Enjoy!

Mufflers can always be changed and those mega sized indicators can be shrunk, and the fender can be adjusted/repaired, but what's going on with that front brake?

The wheel is in the wrong way round and that brake will not work that way.

Yeah, I know about the front brake. The dummy I bought the bike from aparently turned it around because the wrong speedo gear is on it. This way the speedo will work.

I need a new one/cant find one, and sadly I kind of have to have the speedo work. So, if anyone knows of the correct speedo drive for me!!!!!!????? I will buy it!!!

As for the rest, yes, work in progress !!!

Thanks for looking !!!

Wow, those are some serious blinkers. They probably light the road better than the headlight :-)

haha, I KNOW !!! So funny, But until I get some new lower fork covers... They have to stay. Whoever installed them cut the lower for covers to put them on.

I think they're off a night hawk, or cb750 or something.

Anyways. The more I dig into this thing, the more and more i find wrong with it. Dont even get me started on wiring!!!! Duct tape and masking tape everywhere.

FARMER FIXES !

I'll post pics when I get them.
