MY dad and I are rebuilding the carburetor on my '65 305 Dream. My question is the end of the throttle cable that goes into the carburetor seems to be stuck. Is the 'jesus' clip inside holding it in place, if so, how is that end of the cable removed???
thanks

Re: Throttle cable stuck in carburetor!!!!
The funny looking clip holds the needle. Compress the spring and push the cable so the end comes out of the slot inside the slide and remove the cable through the slot in the side. ..........lm
