shortened front fender
shortened front fender
i just bought an old cb77 that has a shortened front fender, (which i am going to switch out for a stock one) . Doing research i noticed that there seem to be alot of shortened fenders going around? Was this some sort of sporty look back in the day? To me it gives it more of a dirt bike look.

jlerma, I owned my first cb77 in 1967 it was a '65 model. The first dumb thing I did was "bob" the front fender for a sporty look. So yes for sure,Old School.

Re: shortened front fender
I remember most of the bikers in my area in the late 60's and early 70's had chopped off the front fenders of their bikes with a Hacksaw. I think mostly as a cheep repair after they bent the fender from an altercation with a car. I know that is the reason both my 305 and my brother’s 350 had chopped fenders.
