Seat Color Question

Guys,

On a Red-framed bike, would the seat pan be Red or Black? I cannot tell from the photos I've seen, but with nothing else Black, it would make sense to have the pan red - but I'm guessing.

I have seen them painted red and I'm going to paint the pan on my 'non-standard' metallic blue CL77 in blue. I'm even going to put a blue cover on my seat - 'just because I want to'

My late '66 CL77 is red with a red seat pan. When I rebuilt the bike a few years ago I repainted everything but the seat pan so I could keep a record of the original color (plus you can't see it anyway)
