At long last I will soon start tearing down my 67 cl77 and only have one small problem I can't find an answer for.
The seat mounts differently on the 67 than all previous year/models. My parts source shows rear mounts as bolts and nuts and I know these later models mount with some sort of rubber mount with bolt and nut but I can't for the life of me find what they even look like much less where to get some.
Could someone please nudge me in the right direction so as to solve this one? Stumped in Seattle,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,RW

The bolts should be collared. Nick at Ohio Cycles has them in repro, and usually has a set on Ebay. I bought them from him a couple weeks ago for my 67 CL77. Here's a link to his auctions.

Thank you both for the pic and the link. Are these rubber parts still available? If so, from where?
I will get the bolts soon since I need them for my 66 cl as well.
Dave, Did your painter have a number for that blue you used on yours? If so would you mind sharing? If it is a one of a kind mix and you would prefer to keep it that way, that's cool too,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,I guess. Just a thought. RW

RW, I'd imagine Nick has the rubber parts as well. The paint color was scanned from the sidecover, under the origional muffler warning decal. I owe my painter some framed pics of the bike. I'll try to get those done soon, and then I'll hit him up for a paint code. I'm thinking about doing my flat tracker in that same blue, it's truly an awsome color.

Many thanks for the info Davo, I broke the bike down today and boy am I committed now. Maybe I can even ride it next season. This economy does slow me down a bit.
If you don't object to using that color, Please keep me posted on the color # when available. You did an awesome job on that bike. Thanks again. RW
