The other day I stripped my superhawk down to the frame, and organized and labeled the bolts, and I realized, not only were there a few wrong bolts, but a few missing, a few rusted, a few bent.
I'm looking for an entirely new bolt set. At the time I did my search late late a few nights ago, I only found bolt sets for the engine (which I will be purchasing as well). Just curious if anyone has such a thing or knows if any of our trusted vendors carries it.

Re: Full bolt set
Your local auto parts store or hardware store. I picked up an assorted set of metric nuts and bolts at the auto parts store that came in real handy, and all the others I found at hardware stores. I did buy a set of engine cover bolts, but I did find I could have found these locally.Gun wrote:... Just curious if anyone has such a thing or knows if any of our trusted vendors carries it.

Try Terry at Western Hills. I was looking to replace all the bolts a couple of years back, and he pretty well had everything in stock. Don't know if he still has them now though!Gun wrote:The other day I stripped my superhawk down to the frame, and organized and labeled the bolts, and I realized, not only were there a few wrong bolts, but a few missing, a few rusted, a few bent.
