transmission jamming

So i've been working on my 68 CB77 and everything has been going pretty well. When i finally got it up and running, i took it out and now my transmission is randomly getting stuck in between gears. There is really no logic behind it. I have narrowed down to definitely the transmission. It seems like sometimes it will go through all the gears just fine and other times it will just get stuck between gears and not shift anymore. Has anyone ever had this problem before

Derek, my CL does the same thing on occasion. This is just an inherent trait of these bikes. You have to shift them with a little bit of authority. When mine hangs up I just shift back to the previous gear and try again!..................D
