Well I decided to restore another old bike for my collection and thought some of you just might enjoy seeing some of the process. There's a little bit of a story to the bike so here it is.
Way back in 1972 I owned a Honda Ct70 Mini Trail. I would ride it all around the trails in Labrador City, Newfoundland, Canada and loved the thing. I used it for years and at that time I considered it my best friend. I was the youngest of seven children and the rest of the kids were grown and moved out on there own when I got the bike. I was twelve years old at the time and a year later my mother passed away and it seemed the only thing I had left was my little CT70.
As some of you will know I started restoring a few old bikes as a hobby and stopped doing them about a year ago but I was always on the look out for another Honda CT70 like the one I once had and as luck would have it I found one the same color and year in Quebec, Canada.
Below is the start of the restoration.

There was some damage to the frame because the steering stop was worn so the first thing I did was repair that along with putting a new exhaust on the little bike. Picture shows me tig welding the bike.

I'll post some more pics later if anyone's interested in viewing them. Enjoy, Paul
