I may or may not have dropped a washer down the spark plug hole when taking the points apart. Being a bike that hasn't been run since 1973 there has been some replacement parts here and there ,there was one additional washer on the other point so I am curious if I screwed up.The motor has been turned over quite a few times before discovering it. Any suggestions, Honda 305. Thanks Chris

i would try to find someone with a flexible borescope

Hope that it is magnetic and fish around with a magnet on a flexable shaft,

I thought I did the same thing a while back, the washer turned up betwen one of the cooling fins.
