dream 305 kick start

was wondering if I could just use the kick start to start without a battery some tell me I need the battery but all I want to do is get it running not worried about lights right now thanks

Yes you can.<br /><br />I have done it with mine - with basically a dead shot battery.<br /><br />and - yes you can get it to turn over.<br /><br />

Yeah, but it will fry your rectifer with no battery. Be warned!
