Hi
My name is Dan. I am very active with vintage restorations and I recently purchased my next project. I have yet to restore a Superhawk but have always wanted one and recently I found a 1966? CBM72. This bike originated in Korea and was taken apart and sent home by the original owner who was stationed in Korea many years ago. It was never re-assembled so I have several boxes of parts to begin with. Everything looks pretty good and I believe it still has the original tires on it being that it only has 3100 KM on it. The tank Badges say Dream 250. It is missing the engine cylinders, one piston and mufflers. I want to find out what I can about this model that may be different from the US Models and also find out exactly what year model it is. The Engine # is CBM72E-1006810 the frame # is CBM72-1006671. Can anyone help me with the year?. I do know it has a 360 crank in it and it has small winker signals. I also found out that it has a different "Power Jet Carb" than the US models. Any info that anyone can give me about this bike would be great. I also have the original Korean license plate. Would this model be any more or less collectible than a US model cb72??
Thanks for your help.
