Loud Mouse, thanks again. You're a life saver. I got a the carb kits exchanged for the CB77 instead of the CL77, and it still came with a square gasket. Just ordered a pair of the round gaskets for $5.

Awesome.

Hey Scott, are you referring to your older carbs or the pair I sent you? Because I had both pairs, yours and my newer '67s, in front of me on the table; I'm bloody certain they're identical bowls! Or am I slipping into senility?

Maybe I should have worded that better. They're most certainly both the same bowl shape. I just got square gaskets in the mail as opposed to the round variety. Of which I have just placed an order for the right sized gaskets per LOUD MOUSE's suggestion.

Thanks. I really thought my eyes were deceiving me there and that maybe I should try some illegal recreational substances!!

After getting my carb kits from Retro I realized from Lee's pictures I indeed have Oval carbs on my 64' . I realize all I should need is the oval bowl gaskets for rebuild. According to Bills manual they were used from 61-63. Did mine just happen to get Oval or is it more likely that they were changed at some point. Just curious more than anything. Thanks for your input.
