Engine vent hoses on a 66 CL77?
One coming from the top of the cam cover and 2 out of the back of the cylinder heads.
The one on top seems open as it will blow free through an open rocker inspection cover. Are the others under the carbs "timed" and how can you tell if they are open and working.
tks

blocked?
If they were blocked, would that cause oil to grt on the plugs? Trying to rule out everything but rings first.

compression
I'm sure it is going to need rings this winter. I'm just wanting to eliminate anything else that might be oiling the plugs so I can keep riding it for a while.
It'll run and idle and I can ride it without any hiccups. It just isn't as good as it can be and the plugs are too sooty.
