[forwarded from email]

Hello,

I am trying to take apart the shocks of the front fork assembly of my 1964
CB77. Is this possible? Do you know how to disassemble the front shocks or
know anyone who does? I want to get this bike on the road and am getting
desperate...

Thanks,
Dana Smith
onlyzeoul@hotmail.com
Re: CB77: Front Shocks
I would suggest the back-issue of Motorcycle Mechanics, circa somewhere in the dec 2000 to April 2001 range. Mark Haycock ran a year long article on restoring a Superhawk to running condition and he did overhaul the forklegs. I will look thorugh my issues and see if I can't pin down the issue date.

Another note; I remember him distinctly saying that if you don't need to do this job, don't. Apparently they're no fun.
