cb72 questions

Does anyone know what a very nice restored cb72 is worth? On a scale of 1-10 I'd say a 8-9. All rechromed pieces, all new paint and coated parts as origially were. Also did any of them come with a chrome fenders? Thanks for the help

You might also try to contribute somthing to the discussions here before looking for free advice. We're always here to help a fellow 305 enthusiast, but it makes one wonder what' your deal? I have been a member for 2 years here, I had to change my user name awhile back. I'm not looking for free information, just a simple question. I have 11 305 cl77's and cb77's in my collection. I have rebuilt several of these bikes from ground up. The reason I asked about the cb72 is I bought one last month, complete with matching engine. All I wanted to know is what a restored one is worth. Yes it will be for sale when I am done, but I seen one on ebay bid up to 11,000.00 a while back and didn't meet the reserve. I have talked to several collectors and no one can give me a price what its worth. My book shows 4000.00 in mint condition. It also shows the cb77 worth 4000.00 in mint condition. Only having imported approx. 3000 cb72's makes me think they should be worth more than the cb77. Thank you 305 nutt
