Best place to get a seat for my CB77 Super Hawk.

Post by bmarkk » Thu Apr 03, 2008 10:53 am

Where is the best place I can get a seat? I bought my Superhawk a couple of weeks ago with a really crappy aftermarket seat that doesnt even really fit. I've seen the seats on eBay from Thailand but I'm concerned about the length of shipping. Can you guys recommend a place that has them in stock thats here locally in the U.S? I really dont want to wait 2-6 weeks for a seat.

Any help would be appreciated.

Does it have to be new or in perfect shape?

If not, see item 290219979589 on eBay.

Apex cycle has the same Thailand seats available in the good old U.S. of A. His reputation may be less than stellar though. Look in product reviews for feedback on these seats.

It doesnt have to be new cuz I can always get a cover for it. I'll keep my eye on this one. Thanks for the heads up.

Ok I won the auction but I'm not sure if this seat is correct for my CB77. I dont see the mounting holes. I notice it lacked mounthing holes before I bid on it but I thought that if I won it for cheap then I could deal with the hit. The cover isnt the same but if it does fit, I figure I can get it recovered. Can any of you guys chime in and let me know if this seat will fit or not?

That seat is not for a superhawk! It doesn't have the front or rear mounts required , it's the wrong shape, wrong cover etc. It looks like it's for a 1970s CB350 type.

I was afraid of that. It was advertised wrong on ebay. I'm trying to get a refund now. Are there no other sources for seats? Someone has got to know.
