Petcock repair

Post by choppadude » Thu Aug 08, 2019 6:36 am

I have a rebuild kit for my petcock on my 1966 305 Dream and would like a little guidance as to how to disassemble the petcock so that I do not damage this expensive part.

The bottom bowl screws out of the body (CCW) and reveals 3 screws which hold the body onto the tank.

Yes, I have the bowl off and petcock removed what I need is to know how to take the internals apart to replace.

Thanks for the link. All rebuilt and back on the bike with no leaks.
