Charging and lean condition

Thanks for clarification Neil (HTH - understand now!). My brother rebuilt the carb, a very competent mechanic, but things happen, we will pull the carb and have a look.

I thought there would be a metric or standard voltage as a baseline...the bike def charges (v rises with revs), and it may be totally fine, it's a new bike so learning the quirks.

And I also thought Radio Shack went out of business too! Good to know they are somewhat still around.
