Mine was so sloppy as to be almost unusable. Holes in the knuckles and shift arms were worn oval and the two pins were badly worn. I figured that any used ones would probably be worn as well.
These Heim joint rod ends made a huge difference.

Great mod...

Much more bearing area than the original pins and clevises.

These are 8mm because the rod (and holes) are 8mm. Could be bulkier/heavier than necessary.
In the future I might convert to 6mm. That's what is on my Hawk GT.
