Ca77 front cushion bolt and bushing

Post by zoom » Wed Nov 17, 2010 9:09 pm

Wouldn't you know the very last bolt to remove on a complete tear down of a 64 CA77 wouldn't budge.

It was the bolt holding on the bottom of the shock on the front cushion suspension (a shouldered bolt with about a #4 philips head). I resorted to welding a bolt on the back end to get leverage on it to unfreeze it. Then had to cut the bolt off. Anybody have a extra bolt and or bushing (that the bolt goes through) that I could buy?

Thanks
Jay

Hello Jay

I just picked up a parts ca77 for cheep and have already removed all the parts I needed to finish my restoration and I should have what you need. I just went out to the garage with my computer in hand to see if I could figure out what part you were talking about? If you could take a picture of the part or describe it better I can get it sent out to you.
