When replacing the original Dream condenser with a more modern 1- wire condenser, can you simply solder a wire onto the condenser's body and run that wire to the coil?

You could solder a wire to the body but risk cooking the electrolyte inside. If it’s a single wire then just clamp the body to the engine.
