I can't answer this conclusively, but the last battery I put in the C72 was a modern sealed agm battery from an Australian manufacturer. I got sick of putting traditional long skinny lead/acid batteries in that were specifically manufactured to fit the Dream. To get the battery to fit I had to reverse the battery leads and put some spacers in the battery tray. This worked a treat and the battery has last a lot longer.
I promised myself that the next batteries I put in all my bikes would be lithium and I'll do some research on the suitability of one of these for the Dream also.
