Yup, I too was close to buying a CA77 heel-toe shifter it was only $600-700 usd a few years back. Not a looker but worked fine. Then a restored one...almost. Not sure why I didn't pull the trigger.
Still CB's missing on ebay.

Re: CB77 Missing on Ebay
That's terrific if you crave CA's but, since I bought my first Honda 305 Super Hawk CB77 in 1963 there's only one ancient bike of interest for me, the CB77. CA's, Honda 50's, RD350/400 Yamaha's, Suzuki Water Whale GT750's, Triumph Bonneville T120R's, and Ninja GPZ900's and a slew of other bikes were ...

CB77 Missing on Ebay
Hi,
Has anyone noticed the missing lack of CB77's on ebay in the last year, and perhaps have an explanation for this phenom? EG Have Buyers been backing out of purchases or something crazy like that? Or complaining that bikes aren't perfect or something? A mystery to me. Ideas?

Re: Do you ride your CB77 on the freeway/highway?
Almost forgot...
Read Michael Stoic's riding logs they're brilliant and he takes lots of endless long distance trips, freeway et al, at least back in 1997 when I first read of them. Beautifully written BTW. He had a UK road test up about a CB77 that loved to cruise at 75-80.
Thanks Michael!

Re: Do you ride your CB77 on the freeway/highway?
Look, I got my first 305 Super Hawk back in 1963 brand new, a white one with silver fenders, and side covers-right from the dealership. I took it on the freeway all the time and still do. Loves to cruise at about 7- 8 grand 77- 88 mph or so. 70-80 all day long.

If one must have a dualco I suggest Bike tools etc they are super customer oriented, family owned in Oregon and a dualco costs $12.95.
