Should I buy a dream 305?

Post by pittsburgh kid » Sun Aug 06, 2006 3:11 pm

Hello everyone! I'm new to motorcycles, and asking for your opinions. I have found my first 1966 honda dream ca77 . We got it to run, the clutch pack is stuck or something. I hope its an easy .. It's been sitting for 22years in a dry basement. It has all the parts, except, handle bar and right side throttle and brake lever. Are parts hard to get? Should I buy this Dream 305 ? (( I've never wrote to a post either , so I hope I'm doing this by the rules.))

To release the clutch pack just take left side cover off(be careful of the oil slinger) you may want to pop it out before removing the entire side cover thru round cover and then take pack apart and clean the disks.Parts are readily available on Ebay and at swap meets. These are great bikes to work on.Easy for a beginner and theres lotsof help on this site too.Joe in,Pa
