Hydraulic clutch for Dream?

Post by brewsky » Tue Sep 20, 2016 4:20 am

This was posted on the SOHC4 Forum without comment....

Appears to me to have a hydraulic clutch setup?

I'm guessing it's a homemade adaptation?

Anyone here?

Nice and very sensible modification. I was looking at a hydraulic actuator for a VF500 (I think) to do a similar job.

Definitely pretty Cool mode there. Sure like some details, if anyone has any.

I contacted the member who posted the pic, and it was a random shot from a show, so he didn't have any more info.

Looks like a neat installation though.

Would have been nice to be able to route the hose inside the cover.

Haven't tried one yet but I have been looking at these every once in while. A hydraulic clutch that works like a cable.

I was hoping to work out something like this working directly on the push rod.....

I know you can get a hydraulic clutch kit for Meriden 650/750 Triumphs that works on the push rod.
