Needle Jets
I have tried to adjust the carbs many times. Ive soaked them in a carb cleaner, changed jets/needles,main & slow jets, Ajusted needle settings. I have an electronic ignition. Today I disasembled them again and found that the needle jet were not the same size. Whats up? Two diffrent carbs? can I change the needle valves?

Needle jets
Is it possible to drill the smaller needle jet to the same size or does it have to be replaced. The larger jet carb runs geart and adjusts fine.

I live in chicago. Im working on a 1967 cl77. Yesterday I examined the carbs and found that there was different size needle jets. I took both Jet needles and freely slid each on down into the needle jets. The left card (the one that runs good) the jet needle went almost compleatly through. The right one the jet needle stopped about half way. I tried booth jet needles and got the same results. Evidently some one replaced a carb with a cb or other. Both carbs are marked 26mm. I don't know what size the needle jets are and the needles are marked the same. Please tell me if the needles should pass almost through the jets or not and what size neeedles and needle jets are right?
CL77 jet needles are stamped K24304. The needle jet does not have any markings. The jet needle does not pass all the way through the needle jet. The nozzle / emulsifier tube has no markings either. The main jet is 135, and the pilot 42. Pics would help to make sure we are talking about the same parts. Edit your location into your profile when you get a chance.
