Header pipes for the CA77

There is an "S" marked on one my headers where it enters the muffler.Does this mean anything?thanks- Joe

Joe I got into my shed and found the other original header pipe. One of the pipes has the letter "S" on the end of it. It's bent lower than the other side and is 1 inch shorter

The other pipe has an "L" marked on it. Paul

Is the header pipe really shorter than the other?
I just thought mine was cut off coz it was wrapped in rubber when i got the bike.
