I'd like to thank you for having an outstanding attitude on this. instead of simply reproducing them and selling them for 10 bucks less than the competition, you plan on doing it at what is a resonable cost for materials and reproduction. after what experience i've had with chain guards on the cb77 i'm considering reproducing them myself and selling them in the same manner as you are.

I think we should be more focused on helping others enjoy these fine bikes than parting em out and selling a speedometer for 92 bucks.

No problem. Hopefully I'll have a rough price within a few days.

I'm on board Phil,

I'd say if you ran off 500 pieces you would easily make your money back on this. If they are as good as the originals then you would have plenty of buyers. I would be one of them.........

Do you have an original as a template?

I've got originals on my bike that I can send to the factory when the time comes. I have enough info for a quote right now. The setup will probably seem high but when amortized into the price per piece it shouldn't be too bad.

Sounds like a plan, I'll have to buy an original or at least one of the expensive reproductions to make sure i get the measurements and look proper (never seen one in person being a young gun).
But after i get my restore finished (few weeks maybe) i'll look into investing some time/money/primer and see if we can't get that price down. I'll talk to some metal workers in town and see what they think is best. Hell, maybe one of them will make em for dirt cheap and i can just primer/sand them and have them good to ship.
