I would start looking for a replacement rim. You could try and get someone to push that ding out in a hydraulic press but would you want to trust your life to it?

Front or rear. I have 2 extra rear rims that are mechanically good, but chome is not so good. If interested in one let me know

It runs. I am having a blast bombing around on this thing. A big thanks goes to Kevin at Scrambler Cycle for all the parts and advice.

Have you checked the valve clearances? It sounds like there's a little valve train noise in you video.
