Japan Meets Britain
Of course over here I'll have to tell everyone it's American - you know, the ol' red white and blue?!
I thought this motif would be a nice counterpoint to the bike, rather than boring black or silver (plus, my wife liked this one, so any time I can get her to endorse anything motorcycle-related, it's a win!). However, they do have a candy-cane striped one, but I thought that was a bit over the top....yes, even I have my limits. See more Ruby madness: http://www.exclusivehelmets.com

Hmm...that's a John Grainger question. Don't forget, I'm not the mechanic - just the ideas and the wallet! I just e-mailed John, and once I hear back I'll post the info.
However, I can talk about the ride quality. It's nice and stiff, but it has the 'edges' rounded, if that makes sense. My own personal test on this bike is the handlebar-mounted pocket watch. When I had that previous front end with the external springs, I think it ruined two or three other pocket watches (all mechanical movement). It was way too harsh, and going over bumps on the highway was really good for loosening dental fillings. By comparison, this front end is a dream - it's stiff when it needs to be, and pliant when it needs to be. Plus, I've had my 1960 Ingersoll Triumph pocket watch on the bike all this year, and it hasn't missed a beat.
