A CB77 followed me home today. This model has been on my bucket list for some time.
It's not my first vintage bike. I also have a pair of CB160's a CL160, a CL175 sloper, and several other vintage bikes (CB400F, BMW R75/5, Ducati Monza 250, plus others).
The engine is seized, the right side engine cover is broken (likely from someone trying to start the stuck motor), and the kicker gears are missing.
The right side muffler has crash rash. The left header is rusted through and cracked in one spot.
Otherwise is it complete, and seems like a solid bike. The chrome is shot on the handlebars in a few spots. No problem there, as I want flat, or at least lower bars on it.
The plan is a full restoration, starting with a motor rebuild. I'll then sort it out mechanically, then disassemble it to strip and paint.
