These were on the UK site so they may not have shown up in the US. Unusual for them to turn up here. These were with a dealer who looked to be having a clear-out.

I look everywhere for parts and I've gotten my fair share from the UK, but I am not really looking for tools. I was just saying in my previous post that I should have seen them, but didn't. I've noticed that when I search ebay, just by adding or omitting a term (e.g., 305 or C77) I get widely different search results. It can be frustrating, as I'm sure you know.G-Man wrote:Seadog

Big square nut on steering stem
Restoring 1964 CA 77,or as I've learned while reading this excellent forum, CA 78.
Trying to remove this nut, before I start to use REAL muscle, is there anything I need to know?
Also, I can turn my dampner knob till doomsday but it refuse to come out?
What say the gurus?

Yes it can be difficult. Common miss-spellings are often a good way of finding parts cheaply....

This "guru" says... You post is probably in the wrong place... :-)
Which nut?
Do you have any manuals for your bike?
Better descriptions of you problem and a photo or two will always get you better answers.

Graham, how did you ever find that breather Y tube assembly? That plastic Y joiner was broken on my bike, and I was never able to find a suitable replacement, so I left those tubes off. Great find!
And so were those special tools! Persistence pays off.
