Just put a box under the engine. Undo the bolts and lift the frame off.

That is how I have it now. It is sitting on a milk crate :) I will have to transport it from the garage, into the house and down to the basement though. I am a fairly strong guy, just wondering if I should enlist help for the moving portion

I have carried them on my own but I don't think I'd want to carry one any distance and definitely not down a flight of stairs. If you can get help, go for it.

I don't recall it being an issue. Loosen the adjuster locknut and turn the adjuster enough to free the cable from the brake arm on the hub, and then unscrew the cable from the flange on the brake backing plate. Is yours stuck?

I will have to look when I get home but I dont recall seeing a locknut like I had on the front cable
