Carb Jets in common rebuild kits
Hi guys
I'm rebuilding my carb, and I've noticed that several of the jets in the kit are higher than the originals. For example, my original SLOW JET is a 35, while the same slow jet in the kit is a 40.
Should I keep the original jets when possible? Or should I go ahead and replace them with these different but still appropriate jets? What might that do to performance?
Thanks!

Re: Carb Jets in common rebuild kits
A 35 in a DREAM carb is a bit large as I recall.
What kit did you get the 40 jet in?
Not sure but I thought 30 was standard
Someone will reply for sure. ..............lm

Carb Jets
I got the KEYSTER KH-0019 kit
for Honda C77, C77A, and CA77
I ended up putting it back together with the original jet (35) and the rest are from the kit.
You think I should just go ahead and do the whole new jet kit? with the 40?
Thanks!

Re: Carb Jets
It has been known for a long time that the kit you have doesn't have correct replacement parts.
You may want to compare the needle to what you have and I don't think you should use any parts that are not rubber. .........lm

I recommend you use your original jets and needle. ...........lm

The kit comes with a main jet (130) slow jet (40).
Other than the jets, all the other parts seem to fit accordingly.
Maybe I should just wash up and use the original ones, although like I said, the bike had a 35 slow jet and a 120 main jet
