pre 64 honda c72 tank needed

Hi folks,
I am looking for a pre 64 tank for my 1962 C72 dream I have been keeping an eye on ebay but nothing has popped up in the past couple of months except for a 61 tank that is a bit over priced considering it does not have the chrome panels

What is the handle thing at the front of the tank on the right side in the second picture? Silver with black knob on top.

Are you in the UK? If so, I may be able to help you. I have a spare C72 tank that might help you.

It fits the early C72.

Conbs - looks like a hand shifter to me...
