Revs Up when I turn left
I am almost embarrassed to ask this one, but I have re-ran the throttle cable twice. I have a 305 Dream. 1965. When I turn left the motor revs up. Any hints?

You may have a cable that is to short or not routed right. After I put my Superhawk back together, I had a similar problem when I turned hard right, the clutch would disengage. The cable was pulling tight when the handlebars were turned all the way and this was enough to disengage the clutch. The same thing could happen with the throttle.

Cable
Onemile, I have to agree with Gunnar, the only time I have ever experienced your problem was due to routing of the cable or wrong cable length. Does your cable run inside the handlebars?...........D
