Any one interested on how to build a cafe racer seat, this was the finished product.
You have to like working with fiberglass, takes about 16hrs

Now that's a pretty cool seat, all right. But I have to ask, is the tail light a 49' or 50' Chevy item? Sure looks the part.

love the tail light, the seat is cool, but i'd probably go with a shape that flattered that rear fender a bit more.
LOVE the chrome trim around everything. more pictures of your bike please!

Ya good guess that light came off 55 chevy I picked it up at auto flea market they have up here 3 times a year. I'll post more pics soon.

where did you get that chrome trim? how does it secure to the bike?

I got the trim at canadian tire you should be able to get 1/8 chrome molding from a automotive supplier near you. The seat is held on with the factory placement bolts the lower base was molded off original seat.

looks great.

i'll probably search the ol' ebay for a nifty old car tail light when i redo my cb77. I think I want to do it blue, but white is an option as well (my gf likes that more). so hope i don't end up making a clone of yers! I'll have the regular seat on it. think i want to set up a license plate holder that sits up behind the seat above where the form fitting tail light would be. I dont have the honda logo on my redone seat, so i figure it's a good place to put it out of the way.
