Go with what Davo is suggesting with loosening the nuts. I had the same problem with mine when trying to use the new carb flange o-rings supplied with the Keyster kits. It dosen't take much to throw a bind into the slide from tightening the flange nuts too much. It also doesn't take much pressure to seal up carb flange. Its a happy medium kinda thing ;)

Good luck!

You probably have two springs, because someone was trying to cure the symptom, not the problem!

My slides were sticking after I cleaned out my carbs and put them back on. I had the nuts too tight. I assume since the carb's metal is so soft its easy to warp the body that the slides operate in enough to catch the slide as it comes up. I was told to tighten the nuts as best you can with your finger than just give it a slight crank on top of that with a wrench. If it still persists try loosening them up to just finger tight.

Also, open up the starter housing where the throttle cable attaches to the grip. Mine was full of gunk. From there you can see if the slides snap back with the housing open to eliminate one more potential issue.

That's the key to effective troubleshooting. The process of elimination.

Davomoto Thanks!

I`ve got the same problem with my 1963 Honda C72 Dream.
When I turned the gass it sticked.
And when adjusting the left nut it was working all right.
Very very crazy plem that cannot really understand. One twist and is`t shit.

But if I loosen the nuts don`t I run the risk of sucking in false air? Or loosing the nut?
