Side Covers

My bike doesn't have the side covers. By looking at it I have no idea how they even attach do they attach to something else like the air cleaner mounts?

The front of the covers attach to the brackets coming off the tool can/frame and the rear attaches by a plastic knob with a screw in it on the left side cover and by the ignition switch nut on the right side cover.
