All of the Cloud Silver parts are glossy. In fact there is no flat paint on the bike at all. If you do a bit of image searching you will find some very late CB72/77s with chrome fenders and side covers with black frames. I wish I could give a serial number range but I can't but I think they are all '67s.
If you aren't showing the bike then what the hell? Who will know or care if your bike is not "correct"? If you like it, I say go for it.
