headlight again

Has anyone took the glass off a headlight? It doesn't work and the crome is peeling pretty bad so I was wondering if this could be done. I would like to redue the crome. THANKS joey!

Perhaps the lens can be removed, but those reflectors that I’ve worked on were not chromed, but had a chrome-like film on them.
